Daily Gleanings: Martha (8 October 2019)

In a series of guest posts, Elizabeth Schrader discusses the possibility of Martha’s being an interpolation into John’s gospel (1, 2, 3).

These posts have had some good comment activity in themselves. In addition Tommy Wasserman’s response to this series has itself now generated 90 additional comments. Not all the comments address the substance of Schrader’s proposal, but several do carefully follow up on some of the technical elements involved in it.
